ABS-CBN actor Joshua Garcia could not stop himself from crying as he made this scene under the rain for “Un/Happy For You”.
Starring as reel to real life exes in the film “Un/Happy For You” are Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto. Their tandem has just made an unprecedented comeback on the silver screen with this movie that has a compelling and relatable story.
Their film’s gross sales have already crossed the Php 300 million-mark and have already reached some international silver screens.
In a previous article, Julia talked about the film’s success and as per her, she felt overwhelmed over the love and support she received. On the first day, JoshLia’s movie earned Php 20 million which is, so far, the local film with the highest gross on its opening day for this year.
Recently, adding to the curiosity of the people was the viral behind-the-scene of Garcia where he was seen breaking down under the rain.
In life, we have surely all went through the same desperate and painful experience. Desperate for someone to stay as we would not know where to start over again without them and after all those time we built a whole life with them. It’s understandably painful but life goes on.
The movie also tackled the other side of the coin – the side of the one who gave. The side of the person who gave everything she has before letting go and the part, unspoken about by many, where the grief was to stand firm by that decision.
In the said BTS, Joshua was seen not able to stop from crying. He got too carried away and as per Star Cinema, “But the most heart-wrenching part was even after director Petersen Vargas called ‘Cut!’, Joshua couldn’t stop crying, which showed just how deeply he connected with the moment.”
