Jhong Hilario Finishes Master’s Degree With Highest Merits

Such an inspiration! Jhong Hilario shares his recent achievement.

JHONG HILARIO – The ABS-CBN actor-host shares in a post his recent educational achievement and many are happy for him.

When it comes to parenting, being a role model should not just be in the form of words only but also it should come with actually doing it. For Jhong Hilario, a well-loved “It’s Showtime” and ABS-CBN kontrabida, he wants his daughter to emulate him which is why he worked hard to finish his studies.

To recall, he aced college and based on a previous article, Vice Ganda is proud of Jhong for being a cum laude. He finished his Political Science degree. He navigated a life juggling through a lot of roles – a father, a husband, a politician, a host, and an actor.

Now, to further his achievements academically, he finally finished his Masters Degree in Public Administration from World Citi College. He finished with highest merits. During his graduation, he was with his mother, wife, and daughter. The graduation was held at the PICC Plenary Hall.

His Masters program was a modular program and it took him a year to finish this. In this program, they just receive modules from the school and they will be one to research and find the books needed.

Hilario admitted that it wasn’t an easy journey but for him, as long as there’s an opportunity, he will just grab it. For someone like who has so much on his plate, the key is time management.

“Kung talagang gusto, mero lang talagang paraan. Thankful lang ako na napaka-supportive ng mayora namin sa Makati, Mayor Abby Binay. Ang dami kong natutunan sa kanya lalo na sa public administration,” he said.

He is also thankful to Showtime for the support.

Apart from this, many people also admired their practical move to let their daughter Sarina join a barangay day care. A move that is a bit different to other celebrities who oftentimes choose private schools and institutions to enroll their children.

They also took their time before they decided to allow her to go to a formal school setup appropriate for her age as they want her to enjoy her life as a child first. Not only was it practical but many also believe that public institutions have a lot to offer that private ones can’t.
