Atasha Muhlach received a big acting break
A source said that actress-host Atasha Muhlach is still part of the longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga.
Atasha officially started her career in the entertainment industry when she signed a contract with Viva Artist Agency. However, at a young age, she already did some endorsement projects with her twin brother Andres and their parents, celebrity couple Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez.
Atasha’s first TV show was Eat Bulaga. She was first introduced as the new Dabarkad in September 2023. Fans loved how she naturally interacts with other hosts.
More than a year after her first hosting stint, Atasha Muhlach was given a chance to have her first acting project, and she is the lead actress. This is a TV series that is an adaptation of the Thai movie Bad Genius, which gained international popularity.
Talking about her first lead acting role, Atasha shared that she cried upon knowing that she got the project. She also promised that she would give her best.
For several months now, Atasha’s absence from Eat Bulaga has been noticeable. In recent episodes, actress Julia Barretto is the guest host. With this, some speculations surfaced that Atasha is no longer part of the show.
However, entertainment writer Jun Lalin shared in his recent article in Abante that Atasha is still a Dabarkad, based on what his source revealed.
“Pero isang ‘Eat Bulaga’ staff ang tinanong namin. Hindi lang daw talaga nakakapasok sa ‘Eat Bulaga’ si Atasha dahil busy ito sa taping ng ‘Bad Genius’, ang series ng Viva One na siya mismo ang bida,” the entertainment writer shared.
It was also said that Atasha Muhlach’s shooting schedule for her first series was really hectic. However, the source shared, “Pero babalik din naman siya.”
