Beauty queen-actress Ruffa Gutierrez remembers her late sister-in-law Alexa a month after she passed away and here’s her post.
They say no one can fully heal from the wound of losing someone important, one can only get used to live with it. This seems to be true as many of us, despite losing someone due to death for a long time ago already, seemed to have not fully embraced such a loss. It’s just like a wound covered by band-aid and bleeds every time its opened.
As for Ruffa Gutierrez and for the rest of the Gutierrez family, most especially to Elvis Gutierrez, the wound left by the passing of Alexa Gutierrez remained fresh. As much as we all know, she died due to cancer. It was a short fight but they made sure to do everything for her. She got all the proper treatment and her faith never failed.
A month after they lost her, Ruffa remembered her and in a post, she penned a loving letter to the sister-in-law who was close to her heart. A month has already gone but it’s accordingly still hard to accept that she’s not with them anymore.
The thought that she’s never coming back to them never failed to break her heart and sometimes, she finds herself weeping because of it. She wrote, “We won’t be able to hug, laugh, make chika or plan upcoming family trips anymore.”
Amid the emotional turmoil, she finds strength and relief in knowing that she is now in His divine presence and is watching over all of them. They are still finding their path to live their lives without her but she will never be forgotten by them.
