Based on the article in Inquirer, Rufa Mae Quinto said that she didn’t mind winning the prize, which was eventually received by comedian Chad Kinis, because she knew where the show was heading.

“The game was starting to get really dirty, so I opted out. Of course, who wouldn’t want to win P1 million? I could have tried to fight for it, but I decided to let it go,” Rufa Mae said.

The comedian said she did want to see herself lock lips with Chad Kinis eventually or with any of the comedians in the show. Rufa Mae pointed out that she has a husband and a child and she did not want them to see that she was doing that on TV.

Besides, I can’t handle spitting on another person’s face, because I don’t want anyone to do that to me. My brand of humor is different,” she added.

Rufa Mae also shared that it was really difficult keeping herself from laughing and this made her eventually cry. For her, the secret to not laughing is keeping herself hungry. This made her eventually angry and people around her don’t feel laughing at all.

The comedienne shared that she made a mistake of eating too much during their lunch break and during the competition, she felt the urge to go to rest room. She quipped that this was another reason she didn’t want to compete anymore because she didn’t want to make a mess out there.
