Carlos Yulo’s gold medal win in men’s floor exercise is the Philippines’ first gold medal win in the 2024 Paris Olympics. It is also the country’s first win of a male athlete. But, the winning of Caloy did not stop in it.
It seems like President Bongbong Marcos’ words on Carlos Yulo could not wait another day to take place. The Chief Executive congratulated the Olympic gold medalist and expressed his confidence that it will not be the last gold medal for Caloy.
On Sunday, Carlos Yulo won another gold medal in men’s artistic gymnastics vault. He set the record as the first Filipino athlete to win two (2) Olympic gold medals. There are several rewards that await Caloy back home in the Philippines.
Kapamilya star Vice Ganda is one of those showbiz celebrities who congratulated Carlos Yulo for his gold medal win that brings honor to the country. The comedian thanked Caloy for the pride that he brought the Philippines.

Carlos Yulo is set to receive cash rewards from the House of Representatives. He is also set to receive Php 10 million under the Republic Act 10699 for winning a gold medal, an Olympic Gold Medal of Valor from the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), and a house and lot from the Philippine Olympic Committee.
A property development also pledged to give Caloy a condominium unit. The House Speaker also initiated a fundraising campaign for additional cash reward for the Olympic gold medalist.
