Sharon Cuneta Comes Back To Primetime Through “Saving Grace”

Megastar Sharon Cuneta is making a TV series comeback.

“Saving Grace” is an upcoming series of ABS-CBN which will also mark the comeback of Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

The first collaboration between ABS-CBN Studios and Japan’s Nippon TV is “Saving Grace”. This series is the Philippines adaptation of “Mother”, the Asia’s Most Exported Scripted Format and ABS-CBN is grateful for the trust.

The lead star of this series is Julia Montes which is her comeback project after her appearance in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”. She will be playing the role of the teacher who abducted a young student thinking that she was abused by her real parents. As they escape town, they pretended as mother and daughter and this impulsive decision on the teacher’s part led to become a national issue.

Julia is the 11th “mother”. This series has several adaptations in countries such as Turkey, South Korea, Ukraine, Thailand, China, France, Spain, Mongolia, and Saudi Arabia. Joining her in this series are Janice De Belen, Sam Milby, Jennica Garcia, Christian Bables, and Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

This series also serves as the comeback TV series of the Megastar. She returns to primetime with “Saving Grace” as announced by Dreamscape Entertainment on Tuesday. As announced, she will be joined by De Belen, Garcia, and Bables who all worked together in the successful but now defunct-series “Dirty Linen”.

Milby, on the other hand, was last seen in the 2022 ABS-CBN series “A Family Affair”.

In a previous article, Montes shared that one of the biggest reasons why she accepted this project. According to her, the late Deo Endrinal was this big reason and this was the last project he pitched to her when he was still alive. He told her that this project is really for her which makes this project extra special for her.
