Recently, a YouTube content creator, known as Joker Vlog, consumed Silka Papaya soap at the request of a viewer. The post quickly went viral online and sparked reactions across social media platforms.
The vlogger tried to fulfill the viewer’s request but the internet users expressed their concern over the potential harm caused by such actions. Some criticized the trend of doing extreme stunts for viral fame, pointing out the risks involved.
The commenters reiterated that requests like these are quite extreme and some were happy to see someone put themselves in danger. Many people struggle in life, yet they still take risks, especially on social media, just to go viral.
Upon investigation, the video, initially posted on Joker Vlog’s YouTube channel, garnered over 500 views. Eventually, copies of the video surfaced on Facebook, amassing even more views.
The incident shows ethical concerns regarding content ownership, as some re-uploaded the video without proper credit to the original creator.
“May nagrequest naman sa akon, magmukbang daw ako ng sabon. Wala tayong magawa dahil sa pangarap na makaraos tayo sa hirap at saka yung pamilya natin gagawin natin ang lahat. Andito na sir. Pinili ko yung papaya flavor para matamis.” Joker Vlog explained.
Joker Vlog also emphasized a cautionary message for younger viewers: “Sa mga bata wag gayahin to ha, ginawa ko lang to para sa mga bata ko na makatapos ng eskwelahan.”
