When asked about their experience working with Lay Zhang, who is also an EXO member and solo artist, the girls could not help but express “kilig.” Jaz and Alfea said that Lay is a “perfectionist,” especially when it comes to details of the performances of the artists. They also shared that the showrunner made sure that everyone was taken care of.

We were starstruck. He’s very kind. He is very caring and very attentive. I knew of Lay as a perfectionist, so I was very nervous. But when we met him, he was really kind,” AJ shared. Girl group BINI was also part of the show.

In the same interview, G22 also talked about their friendship with artists Yeng Constantino and KZ Tandingan who are also being managed by Cornerstone Entertainment.

Jaz shared that Yeng and KZ help them a lot even behind the scenes. “They’re always there to give us advice. They’ve guided us with our sound too,” she added. She also shared that KZ did the additional vocal arrangements for their debut single Bang while Yeng helped them with their performances and how they should evoke emotions during their performances.
