Kapuso actor Paolo Contis was spotted not following Yen Santos on Instagram amid the rumors about their separation.
It all started with “Baguio As A Friend” and a lot of people online surely know the story behind this viral phrase. This came from Paolo Contis who used this phrase while explaining why he was with Yen Santos in Baguio shortly after his split with LJ Reyes has been confirmed.
Two years after making this statement, the Kapuso actor confirmed that they are in a relationship but did not disclose how long they have been together as a couple. To recall, they were first-time co-stars in the 2021 film ‘A Faraway Land’.
During his confirmation last year, he explained that they werejust friends when they went to Baguio. It just so happened that the posting of their Baguio photos came after after the interview of LJ. According to him, that Baguio trip happened several days after LJ and her children flew to New York.
Moreover, Contis have clarified if years ago that Santos was not the reason behind his split with Reyes.
Now, over a year after confirming their relationship, split rumors arise after Yen deleted her birthday post for Paolo. She also unfollowed the actor which fueled the speculations.
Last May, Paolo was asked about the issue but he opted to remain silent. He’s already at the point in his life where he knows he doesn’t owe anyone explanation about his personal. Also, this is not a part of his job as an artist.
A month after this interview, people online spotted that he no longer follows Yen on Instagram. This gave people online more reason to speculate about their relationship. Despite unfollowing the actress, the posts about her and with her that he shared still remain as of this posting.
