PAGASA Says Habagat to Affect PH Weather Condition
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that habagat will bring clouds and rains over some parts of the country.
On Monday (June 10, 2024), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Habagat will continue to affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA weather specialist Obet Badrina reported that the Southwest Monsoon will bring cloudy skies and rain over Palawan, Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, and Oriental Mindoro.
The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and the Davao Region. The localized thunderstorms are expected over the remaining parts of the country.
The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides during heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the western section of Luzon and the rest of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
PAGASA did not raise a gale warning in any parts of the country’s seaboard.
