Young Actor Andrew Muhlach Speaks on Alex-Mae’s Relationship w/ 52-Year Age Gap

Recently, the news about the relationship of Niño Muhlach’s father with a woman who is 52 years his junior elicited different reactions online. The actor’s father, Alex Muhlach, is in a relationship with Mae Fortaleza for 10 years now.
Alex Muhlach is turning 82 years old this coming June 9, 2024 while his girlfriend, Mae, is turning 30 years old this year. The couple was together since 2014.
The Muhlach family is one of the big celebrity clans in the Philippine entertainment industry. Recently, young actor Andrew Muhlach, nephew of Alex Muhlach and cousin of Niño Muhlach, spoke on the relationship of the elder Muhlach.
Based on an article on Pep, in an exclusive interview, Andrew Muhlach expressed his support to the relationship of his uncle, Alex Muhlach, and his long-time girlfriend, Mae Fortaleza. He stressed that Mae whom he calls “Maymay” takes care and loves his uncle.
According to Andrew, he has known Mae for several years already since she and his uncle became a couple. Based on the article, he also shared that his uncle’s girlfriend is welcome to their family.
Andrew Muhlach also said that their family treats Mae as a family, too, proving that the age gap of Alex Muhlach and his girlfriend was never an issue to them.
