Traffic Enforcer Francis Allit Graduates from College After Years of Hardwork
A hardworking traffic enforcer in Antipolo City becomes a source of online inspiration after graduating from college.
Recently, Jun-Andeng Ynares, a Facebook user, shared the achievement of Francis Allit Caballero, a traffic enforcer under the Office of Public Safety and Security (OPSS), upon completing his college education.
Among nine siblings, Francis stands as the seventh child, juggling his role as a scholar with the family’s livelihood of farming and agriculture in the province. From a young age, he was used to hard work to support his parents.
Attending high school in their province was a distant dream due to their limited income, prompting Francis to pursue his educational dreams. He found employment in Manila as a carwash boy and service crew, supplementing his income by helping his aunt sell grilled food on weekends and fruits during December.
Allit took on house cleaning jobs for some of his teachers to provide for his own expenses and send money to his family. He bore these responsibilities with resilience, all for the dream of being the first in his family to attain a college degree.
Considering the high cost of college tuition, Francis made the decision to work for the local government as a traffic enforcer under the OPSS while also being enrolled in a Scholarship Program.
The traffic enforcer’s days were divided between attending classes in the morning to enrich his mind with knowledge and managing traffic flow on the streets in the afternoon.
Eventually, the working student’s sacrifices and hard work paid off as on April 30, 2024, Francis graduated from ICCT with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Finally, his efforts bore fruit, and he achieved his dream.

“Congratulations, Francis! Your OPSS Family and the City Government are so proud of you! Patunay ang kwento ng iyong buhay na walang pangarap ang hindi kayang abutin kung sasamahan natin ito ng determinasyon at pagsusumikap. Saludo kami sayo!,” Ynares commended the enforcer.
