What Is Xian Lim Up To Following Controversy?
XIAN LIM – The Filipino actor-director seemed to be focusing on doing something he loves after his breakup with Kapamilya star Kim Chiu.
2023 was called the year of celebrity breakups. Several former celebrity couples who have been together for several years, even decades, left countless hearts broken after they have announced their break-up. Among those former couples who went on different ways are Xian and Kim.
Xian Lim and Kim Chiu have been together for 12 years. They have worked opposite each other on several hit projects as well including Bride for Rent, My Bindondo Girl, Love Thy Woman, and The Story of Us.
The then couple was collectively called “KimXi” by their fans and supporters. However, a lot of KimXi fans were sadded when last December 23, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate who has come a very long way in her showbiz career now confirmed her breakup with the actor.
In a lengthy post which she began with the words, “End of a love story”, Kim Chiu confirmed her breakup with Xian Lim and expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported them. She expressed their hope on the transition of their relationship into a “lifelong friendship”.
The actress also thanked Xian for the “12 years of beautiful memories together” and for showing her what love is. She asked for everyone’s kindness and respect as she closed the book.
The breakup of the former celebrity couple was surrounded with controversy. Xian Lim is linked with film producer Iris Lee which he later confirmed they’re dating. Following their breakup, both stars have visibly focused on the things they love to do.
While Kim Chiu’s acting career remains on an upward momentum with her effective portrayal of her character in Linlang and her hosting career in It’s Showtime, Xian Lim seems to be focusing on directing.
The actor-producer recently posted photos on social media showing that he is in Thailand and seemed to be doing a project. He has always been known as an actor and musician but he is undeniably one of the talented men in the industry.
