Lady Passenger in Bacolod City Shares Frightening Experience w/ Suspicious Man Inside Jeepney
MODUS OPERANDI – A lady passenger shared her terrifying experience with a suspicious man in a public jeepney.
Recently, a Facebook user named Lance Sardeña shared a frightening experience she had in a jeepney with a suspicious man. Her post quickly went viral and garnered various reactions online.
The incident occurred on Thursday morning (April 25, 2024) around 9:30 am in a jeepney traveling the Fortune Towne route from Fortune Towne to downtown. Sardeña didn’t specify where exactly the man boarded.
The lady passenger described him as tall, dark-skinned, looking suspicious with a backpack, sunglasses, cap, black face mask, and earphones. When the man boarded, she was seated near the front, and there was space on her left side close to the window.
Despite the heat, the man sat next to her, with his hand positioned as if leaning against the side Sardeña was leaning on. Feeling uncomfortable, she changed her position, but suddenly felt a bump on her hand, realizing the man had touched her.
The suspect quickly apologized, but Lance was surprised as she thought she felt something sharp, possibly his fingernail, during the bump.
The female commuter didn’t realize at the time that the man was trying to cut her clothing with a blade, as there were numerous attempts, but luckily, he only managed to graze her bra. She only realized this when her manager pointed out the damage to her clothing later.
Sardeña expressed her shock and discomfort, especially since the blouse she was wearing was her favorite office top. She emphasized the importance of being cautious and shared her story as a warning to others, as there have been similar incidents reported in Bacolod City.
Lance urged her friends and family to remain vigilant and cautious while commuting, emphasizing that she didn’t know the man’s motives for his actions.
