A lady teacher expressed her concern as students went for a bicycle ride under the scorching sun despite class suspensions, saying, ‘we have protected you.’
Mildren Fernandez Accad, a Facebook user, shared a photo of several students enjoying a bike ride after classes were suspended. The post quickly went viral, eliciting various reactions from the online community.
In the photo, the cyclists can be seen seemingly having fun on their ride while the sun beats down mercilessly. According to the teacher, the cyclists were using the bike lane and even encroaching into lanes meant for high-speed vehicles.
Accad caught sight of the students around 11 am on the highway. She expressed her dismay, questioning why the students chose to bike under such extreme conditions despite classes being suspended for their safety.
