Generous Teacher Reveals School Allowance of Students in Remote Areas
A teacher has gone viral online after revealing in his vlog how much his students’ school allowances are in the mountains.
The Facebook page Jerics Channel shared a video of the “baon reveal” of his students in the mountains. The post quickly went viral and garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, Sir Jeric is seen stationed near the school gate next to a stall containing his goods. He greets the young students as they enter the school vicinity.
The teacher greets the first student and asks how much allowance she has, to which the young girl responds with P5. Other students have no allowance money, while others have varying amounts.
The educator can’t believe that almost all the students in the area have no allowance. Maybe they have gotten used to the feeding activities he conducts. However, Jeric was privileged and blessed to share the blessings he received every day from God.
As a teacher, teaching was his main responsibility, but it’s more fun to teach with kindness and love for an effective and productive learner in the future.
The video sparked discussions online about the financial challenges faced by students in remote areas, as well as the importance of educators in providing support beyond the classroom. Many praised the teacher for his generosity and dedication to his students’ well-being.

Hindi ako makapaniwala na halos lahat pala ng estudyante dito sa amin ay walang baon. Baka nasanay na sila sa mga feeding activities ko. However, I am privileged and blessed to share the blessings I receive everyday from God. As a teacher, our main responsibility is to teach but its more fun to teach with kindness and love for an effective and productive learner in the future. Thanks be to God for this vocation.”
