Kapuso actor Kelvin Miranda had this fanboying moment with K-pop star Sandara Park who is known as the “Pambansang Krung-Krung.”
Sandara rose to fame after placing second in ABS-CBN’s Star Circle Quest. Eventually, she returned to her home country and pursued a career in the entertainment industry there. She became part of the hit all-girl group 2NE1.
She has remained popular in the Philippines over the years. Sandara admitted previously that she is even surprised by her popularity in the country despite she would just return to visit and for some projects once in a while.
Kelvin Miranda is one of the many fans of Sandara, based on the article in Abante. The Kapuso actor got excited when he saw the K-pop star at Music Box sing-along bar in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.
It was said that Kelvin told his manager Tyronne Escalante to approach Sandara and have a photo with her. The K-pop star did not hesitate to pose for a photo with the Kapuso actor.
“Sabi ni Kelvin, ang bait ni Sandara. Sayang nga at hindi ko naipakilala si Kelvin kay Sandara. Hindi ko nasabi na artista si Kelvin,” the actor’s talent manager shared. Tyronne also shared that Kevin admired how simple and humble Sandara is despite her popularity.
When the talent manager was asked if Kelvin Miranda wanted to have a project with the South Korean artist, he said, “Of course, Sandara Park ‘yan. Sobrang sikat, pero sobrang bait,” Tyronne said.
Meanwhile, Kelvin’s career in showbiz continues to soar. Aside from doing shows on the Kapuso network, he was featured in a recent movie titled After All with Beauty Gonzalez. They first work together in the series Loving Miss Bridgette. Previously, Kelvin and Beauty shared that doing intimate scenes was not that difficult for them because they already worked before.
