American business magazine Forbes reveals Filipino Billionaires in 2024. Here are the names!
FILIPINO BILLIONAIRES 2024 – Manuel Villar leads the pack as several Filipinos have made it to the list of the richest people around the world.
In the list from the business magazine Forbes, we now have 2,781 billionaires across the world. 813 billionaires are from the USA, 473 billionaires are from China plus Hong Kong, and 200 are from India. The digits of these wealthy people continued to swell despite geopolitical unrest and “lingering inflation”.
The richest person in the world is France’s Bernard Arnault and family. They own the luxury goods firm LVMH (Louis Vuitton) with the net worth of $222.4 billion followed by Amazon’s Jeff Bezos ($198.7 billion), Tesla/SpaceX’s Elon Musk ($190.2 billion), and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg ($174.4 billion).

- Manny Villar on 190th with $11 billion
He is the chairman of Vista Land & Lifescapes and owns several others such as Vistamalls, AllHome, AllDay Marts, and Premiere Island Power REIT. Villar was also the richest in 2021. - Enrique Razon Jr. on 224th with $10 billion
He is the chairman of International Container Terminal Services (ICTSI), a big and famous port operator in the Philippines. - Ramon Ang on 920th with $3.5 billion
He is the president and vice chairman of San Miguel Corp. - Hans Sy on 1286th with $2.6 billion
He is the 4th child of late Henry Sy Sr., founder of SM Investments. He and his siblings are part of this list with a combined wealth of $14 billion. - Henry Sy Jr. on 1330th with $2.5 billion
He is the eldest of Henry Sy Sr. and is currently the co-vice chairman of SM Investments and chairman of SM Prime. - Herbert Sy on 1330th with $2.5 billion
