In an interview, Miles Ocampo and Elijah Canlas are trying to work things out again.
MILES OCAMPO AND ELIJAH CANLAS – The actress-host revealed that she and her former boyfriend are trying to rekindle romance.
In November 2023, GomBorZa actor Elijah Canlas confirmed the split with actress Miles Ocampo. To recall, they confirmed their relationship in May 2022 but have been together since 2021.
Despite their split, they remained being on speaking terms. Miles spoke about their reconciliation and she expressed that she is not closing her doors with the possibilities.
She said, “Siyempre, Miss Karen, di na naman biro yung mga pinagdaanan namin. Of course, may mga bagay na kaming dalawa lang ang makakaalam at makakasagot sa isa’t isa. So, might as well, be friends for now.”
Just like Miles, the actor was also not certain of what could happen but he sure is that his love and respect for her will remain.
Months after confirming their split, reconciliation between them sparked when they were spotted together in Maine Mendoza’s birthday party. People noticed that they were getting cozy in a picture.
After this, Miles was caught in an interview after the media conference of her upcoming series “Padyak Princess”, she was asked about their real score and she revealed something. According to her, they are working on their reconciliation.
“Let’s see. We’re working on it,” she quipped briefly while smiling when she was asked if they were together again.
Meanwhile, before the 2023 ended, she was given with a complete surprise over her eventual win as Best Supporting Actress in A Family of Two during the MMFF 2023 Gabi Ng Parangal.
Before this achievement, she had a papillary thyroid carcinoma diagnosis. She is now cancer-free but will have a maintenance for life.
