Did Paolo Contis feel bad after the noontime show Tahanang Pinakamasaya closed down in GMA? Here’s his answer.
Television and Production Exponents Incorporated (TAPE) announced officially the close down of Tahanang Pinakamasaya. After the efforts to make the show work, both parties decided to officially end Tahanang Pinakamasaya which became effective on March 8, 2024.
In the statement of TAPE about Tahanang Pinakamasaya’s end, the company stated, “GMA 7’s kind consideration and understanding of the company’s unwanted circumstances have been instrumental in helping the company in this transition. Despite our best efforts to save the show, both parties have reached a mutual agreement to finally call off the show.”
GMA released a statement as well. The network thanked the family-led production company for the decades of partnership and for their contribution in the noontime programming.
With the end of the noontime show where Paolo Contis was among the main hosts, did he feel bad? Does he have “tampo” to the GMA network?
The actor was asked about this and he was surprised. He did not know where the question came from but what he can say is that he has no bad feelings towards the network.
“GMA has been very supportive of me ever since. Kahit nung mga panahon na mas hindi ako okay, they supported me. Walang reason para magalit o magtampo ako ngayon,” he said.
The actor believes that what happened is really such a big deal, hence, the fake stories created by people for content.
He added, “Medyo mainit lang talaga siguro yung balita sa nangyari sa Tahanang Pinakamasaya and GMA kaya madaming nakakaisip ng imbentong kuwento para may pang-content sila. Ibigay na natin yun sa kanila. Hanapbuhay nila yun eh.”
Now that Tahanang Pinakamasaya closed down, the actor’s current work with the network is Bubble Gang.
To recall, the title Tahanang Pinakamasaya was given to TAPE’s noontime show after TVJ won the case for the ownership of the title Eat Bulaga.
