A friend of Jaclyn Jose can attest to how happy she was before her untimely passing.
Jo Macasa is a close friend of Jaclyn Jose and she has this clarification to the assumptions of many people over the actress’ death.
When Jaclyn Jose died, many celebrities shared stories of their experience with her. They attest to how motherly the actress was. To recall, last March 2, the late multi-awarded actress died due to a heart attack.
Andi Eigenmann confirmed her mother’s death in a statement which left many heart broken.
Among the celebrities who shared his experience with the late actress was Alden Richards. In Alden’s eulogy, the Kapuso actor recalled the “panlalait” he received from the actress when they first worked together. The supposed “panlalait” did not brought them apart. It actually made them closer together – very close that their bonding is much alike to a mother and son.
On Sunday, March 10, was Jaclyn’s inurnment. It was reportedly held at The Garden of the Divine Word Columbary in Quezon City after a week-long wake at the Arlington Memorial Chapel. The was graced by a lot of celebrities who were close to the actress. Jaclyn’s son, Gwen Garimond Ilagan Guck was present on the day of the inurnment.
About the assumptions that the actress died with isolation and sadness, her close friend Jo Macasa made some clarifications. Contrary to the assumptions, she was accordingly full of life and enthusiasm because of her upcoming projects.
“That phone call ang saya-saya niya. She’s very perky, very lively. She was telling me, ‘uy ang dami kong offers.’ So hindi totoo na parang ang lungkot niya. Hindi totoo ‘yun,” she said.
When she was alive, she was accordingly the type who loves hosting gatherings. She loved taking care of the people around her. They actually have plans to go to a movie but this is never going to be materialized. That last phone call between them showed that she was full of life but as a friend, death was never in her mind when the late actress became unresponsive the following day.
