Jaclyn Jose’s death was attributed to a myocardial infarction or heart attack on the morning of March 2, and it was clarified that there was no foul play involved. Numerous celebrities, including former ABS-CBN president Charo Santos-Concio, expressed their grief at her unexpected departure.

Charo, recalling Jaclyn’s poignant moments in the drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” shared screenshots of the actress’s roles in the series on Instagram. Charo underscored Jaclyn Jose’s brilliance in portraying real-life individuals.

“Remembering a bright star gone too soon  I bid farewell to a remarkable soul whose exceptional talent graced the small screen in ‘MMK’ episodes I’ve had the privilege to host,” Santos-Concio said.

“Here are just a few moments that barely capture her brilliance — an actress whose performances captivated our hearts. The final photo celebrates the journey we shared. More than the accolades, it was her warmth, professionalism, and respect that truly set her apart,” she added.
