Cristy Fermin talked about Mariel Padilla
Veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin said that celebrity vlogger Mariel Padilla, the wife of Senator Robin Padilla, is “sutil talaga.”
Mariel became controversial just recently. This was because of her viral photo showing that she was having her IV drip while she was at the Senate office of her husband. Netizens criticized the former Pinoy Big Brother host.
The said photo was no longer available on Mariel’s social media page and she apologized for what happened. Senator Robin also apologized to his fellow Senators.
After that, Mariel Padilla’s reaction to the old kissing video of Sen. Robin Padilla and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez caught the attention of many netizens. Mariel said that this received more comments than the IV drip issue.
She also tagged singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid, the husband of Regine, in her reply to netizens tagging her in the said old video.
Amid these recent issues about Mariel, Cristy shared her reaction to issues about Mariel on a recent episode of her showbiz program, based on the article in Balita. “Sutil talaga itong babaeng ito. Sa totoo lang, sutil talaga siya. Palaban naman talaga siya,” she said.
Cristy added that Mariel has a good image as a supportive wife to her husband and her image as a mother. However, for her columnist, this good image was affected by the recent issues.
“Ang ganda-ganda, e. Dahil iniwasan na niya ang paglabas sa telebisyon at pelikula. Ang ganda ng image. Kaya lang nagkataon namang ganito. Samantalang ‘yong pagpapa-IV Drip pwede naman ‘yon sa ibang lugar,” Cristy said.
Mariel Padilla clarified in a statement that she was not having a “gluta drip” at that time and it was Vitamin C. Even Senator Nancy Binay criticized Mariel because of the questioned legality of the “gluta drip.”
