This is the reaction of Dennis Padilla after Julia Barretto greeted him on his birthday.
In an interview, actor-comedian Dennis Padilla expressed that he was touched by the birthday greeting from his daughter Julia Barretto.
Julia, Claudia, and Leon are Dennis Padilla’s children with his ex-wife, actress Marjorie Barretto. They are estranged from him but the actor never gives up on them. Through his social media pages, he reaches out to them and never fails at remembering special dates like their birthdays.
He is always vocal of his longingness to his children and his admission of regret. He has expressed it before how hopeful he is to be forgiven by children someday.
Recently, based on a previous article, Dennis received a message from Julia. The message was more than enough to make him happy. The happiness radiated in his face after his daughter greeted him on his birthday.
“Julia, thank you at nag-text ka sa akin nung birthday ko,” said Dennis. For him, this is a positive indication for them to finally make their relationship as father and daughter improve.
Talking about this in an interview, Padilla was clearly overjoyed he even quipped, “Naluha ako dun.”
He added, “That was sweet and para bang tagos sa puso ang iyong mararamdaman. That’s why I was so happy and I hope makapag-dinner or lunch kami soon.”
Padilla is also looking forward to see and spend some time with Claudia and Leon as it has been accordingly over two years since he saw them.

Meanwhile, previously, Marjorie hoped for Dennis to protect the children. This is amid their issues and right after Leon shared an open letter for him where he expressed that as their father, he should not air personal matters on social media. For as it seems for him, every time they would move to reconcile with him, he does something that would make them stay away from him.
