Maris has come a long way since she started her showbiz journey through the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother. She has proven her versatility with different roles that she portrayed over the years.
The recent hit project of Maris is the series featuring the DonBelle tandem of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano. Although Maris and Anthony are just playing supporting roles, viewers are also loving their tandem and they enjoy watching their amazing chemistry.
In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Anthony Jennings shared what happened when he met singer-songwriter Rico Blanco, the real-life partner of Maris Racal.
The actor jokingly said, “Sabi ko nga, ‘Gusto mo, mag-love triangle tayo, bro?’” He shared that Rico visited their set and they talked.
“Nag-usap kami saglit. Wala naman. Tropa lang din naman ang turingan namin. Paano ako nag-i-interact sa ibang tao, ganoon din naman. Lahat ‘yun pantay-pantay ang tingin ko,” he said.
Anthony also shared that he respects Maris and Rico’s relationship. It is the same respect that he gives to his relationship with his non-showbiz girlfriend.
“Happy ako na nakausap ko siya. Nagka-kilala kami sa [ABS-CBN] ball. Natatawa silang dalawa, ‘yung girlfriend ko at si Rico. Natutuwa din sila sa eksena namin ni Maris,” the actor shared.
Meanwhile, Maris and Racal received a lot of support from fans and their showbiz friends from the time they confirmed their relationship until now. The couple would always get “kilig” comments every time they would share their sweet photos and videos, just like when Rico penned a birthday message for Maris last year.
