Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes has this reaction after the casket he used in “Rewind” was sold for a huge amount.
Kapuso stars and real-life couple, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes’s comeback film is “Rewind” which is an official entry for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023.
For those who have watched the movie already, we all know that Dingdong’s character met the most heartbreaking ending. In that part of the story, he was placed inside a casket and this casket was just recently sold for Php 250,000.00.
Boss Toyo, a businessman and vlogger, bought the item for that price. The funeral homes owner went to the vlogger for this purpose. To prove the claims, he even showed Boss Toyo the video of the moment when the actor really lied down inside it.
With the value the item holds, Boss Toyo bought it even though he was initially having second thoughts. Some negotiations happened and both agreed to Php 250,000.00.
This reached Dingdong and in his Instagram story, he quipped, “Mejo malambot naman siya sa loob…[wink emoji].”

Meanwhile, “Rewind” is now the highest grossing Filipino film of all time. This is the first Filipino film to cross Php 900M at the worldwide box office. As of January 31, the film earned Php 902 million in total. It also surpassed the domestic sales set by “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” which earned Php 691 million.
This film was shown in Philippines, United Arab Emirates, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Guam, and Saipan.
The story is about a couple whose marriage is on the rocks. A tragedy has happened which put the husband in time-loop that allowed him to correct his wrongdoings, drastic decision, and intense reactions in the past.
