In a new post, Kris Aquino pens this message for her sons.
After opening up about her health, Queen Of All Media Kris Aquino has this message for her sons Josh and Bimby.
“I refuse to die.”
In a previous article, many years after she stepped out of the limelight, Kris Aquino finally granted an interview with Boy Abunda, a very close friend of hers. In the interview, she opened up about her health condition and what is next for her treatment.
In the health update from Aquino, she confirmed that she now has five autoimmune disorders, worsening health, and her heart being at extreme risk. The next six months will be crucial for Kris because starting February 19, she will try a new biological medicine that could save her heart, however, will put her at a huge risk of suffering a cardiac arrest.
“So whatever days are left, kung anuman natitira, it’s a blessing. But I really want to stay alive. I mean, sino ba naman gusto sabihin, ‘Handa na akong mamatay.’ I don’t think any of us can say that,” she said.
After that interview, Aquino took to Instagram to share more of her thoughts after opening up about her health. She clarified that because of her Churg Strauss, she now has cardiomyopathy, a condition that affects the function of heart muscles in pumping blood.
She can have cardiac arrest anytime but she’s fervently praying for this to not happen as she still want to do a lot of things, especially in being a mother for her two sons.
In her post, she penned this message for her sons, “Just in case this is the last birthday i get to celebrate here on earth, THANK YOU kuya & bimb for the most precious privilege of being chosen to be your mom.”
She added, “THANK YOU to my sisters for their love & generosity. THANK YOU to my small but very close circle of cousins & friends who have shared my life and their lives with me. THANK YOU to all of you for making all my childhood dreams come true.”
Aquino reiterated in her post her desire to live longer even though the odds are against her.
