EARTHQUAKE – The Phivolcs recorded a 5.9 magnitude quake in Agusan del Norte today, February 10, 2024. Here are the details.

Following the 5.1 magnitude earthquake in Surigao del Sur several days ago, another significant quake was recently recorded by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) in another province. According to the agency, the quake hit Agusan del Norte today and it has a magnitude of 5.9.

The earthquake today that struck Agusan del Norte, Saturday, February 10, 2024, was tectonic in origin.

Phivolcs stated that the quake specifically hit Agusan del Norte at 11:22 in the morning today. The epicenter of the quake was located at 08.70°North, 125.57°East – 005 km South 44° West of Las Nieves.
