Xian Lim has this item on his bucket list
Kapuso actor Xian Lim has this “panawagan” to his home network GMA-7 and this is one of the items on his bucket list.
Xian has come a long way since he started his acting career. He was part of one of the most successful loveteams from the Kapamilya network. He and Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu did several teleserye and movies that boosted both of their careers.
When Xian decided to transfer to the Kapuso network, he explored directing and writing. He did not directorial projects and he hopes this will continue.
Based on the article in Bandera, in line with the directing part of his career in the entertainment industry, Xian Lim has this request to his home network. He hopes that GMA will give him a chance to direct a teleserye.
“Sana po, nananawagan po ako,” he said. Xian also expressed gratitude to GMA. “I’m very grateful. First of all, I want to say that I’m very grateful to GMA. Like ‘Love. Die. Repeat.’ this was the first show that they offered to me. I feel really grateful and I feel really fulfilled,” he said.
This was supposed his first series as a Kapuso with Jennylyn Mercado. However, this was postponed because the actress got pregnant. On the other hand, he was given other acting projects and after two years, his series with Jennylyn pushed through.
Behind his acting projects, he wished that he could explore more when it comes to directing. Last 2022, he was able to direct an episode of Wish Ko Lang. For him, directing gives him a different kind of happiness.
“Sana po may projects where I can do directing because it is what fuels my soul. Talagang masaya-masaya ako when I direct,” he said.
When it comes to his future projects, the actor said that he hopes to play a dark character someday.
