For the first time, beauty queen Venus Raj is opening up about her love story.
To recall, last December 2023, Venus and North Orillan got married and this event happened shortly after they announced their engagement. This is a “major-major” life event in both of their lives.
A month after marrying, the two opened up about their story. They shared how they ended up being a married couple following a whirlwind romance. They shared the story with their viewers of her “Major Major” podcast.
They played the game called “10 Questions with Venus and North” and gradually, by answering the questions, their story was revealed.
According to them, they first met in 2018 and they were church acquaintances. The beauty queen, at that time, was focused on serving the youth ministry. Orillan, on the other hand, was in a relationship with another person. They were just “magkakilala lang”.
However, later in 2022, sparks started to fly and this was when she was invited to host the wedding of Orillan’s brother. It started when they started having deeper conversations and their communication went even after the event.
And two months after that night, they became a couple. It was a whirlwind romance and seven months after becoming a couple, they got engaged. She acknowledged that their love story happened fast.
Through the podcast, viewers also got the chance to know more about her husband. According to him, he finds joy in preparing meals for Raj and their families. As of now, they plan on having a baby next year.
He quipped, “We’ve been praying about this, even until now, and that’s definitely something I look forward to and I wait expectantly for that.”
