Kapamilya actor Donny Pangilinan revealed the truth behind his viral video with actress Kathryn Bernardo.
Speculations that there was something “special” between Kathryn and Daniel when a video of them surfaced online. The video was taken during the party after the wedding of Kapamilya host Robi Domingo and his non-showbiz partner Maiqui Pineda.
In the video, Kathryn was dancing with one of the newlywed couple’s godmothers. Then, Donny approached Kathryn and talked to her.
The netizen who uploaded this video on X, formerly known as Twitter, had an intriguing caption stating that the actor was interested in the actress.
Robi has directly answered the rumors linking Kathryn to Donny. The television host stressed that they were all friends there, and everyone was just enjoying themselves. He also said that as Donny Pangilinan was one of his groomsmen, he helped him in taking care of the guests.
Following the intrigues that surfaced because of this viral video, Donny was asked about this issue during a recent press conference for his movie Good Game, based on the article in Bandera. He stressed that he and Kathryn Bernardo are friends.
“We had a great time. Lahat naman kami, friends sa showbiz, so binabantayan namin ang isa’t isa. ‘Yun lang ‘yun,” the actor shared.
He added that he has peace of mind knowing that everyone of them at that event is friends. “Enjoy namin ang trabaho namin, and that’s the most important thing,” Donny stressed.
The actor is known as the loveteam partner of Belle Mariano. Together, they are known as the DonBelle tandem.
