Coco Martin and Alden Richards are planning to do a project together
Batang Quiapo actor Coco Martin revealed what happened during his first meeting with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.
It was previously revealed that Coco and Alden are planning to do a movie together next year. Based on a previous report, the two actors are aiming to make this movie a part of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024.
They were able to meet and talk because of Kapamilya drama actress Julia Montes. Alden and Julia did the movie Five Breakups and a Romance which received a warm response from moviegoers.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, Coco Martin shared that it has been his dream to work with Alden Richards. The Kapamilya actor said that it is because Alden has a good image and sets a good example to the youth.
Coco also revealed what happened during their first meeting. “Saka ‘yung nag-usap kami, nagkita kami, ang gaan-gaan ng loob ko sa kanya, parang hindi kami first time na nag-meet. Sabi ko nga, sana mas lumalim pa ang aming pagkakaibigan,” the Kapamilya actor said.
He also shared that it was Alden who requested that they do a drama movie together. They already had an initial conversation about this and they hope it will push through.
“Ang concept siguro about sa magkapatid para maiba lang bukod doon sa mga ginagawa naming teleserye dapat siyempre ‘pag pelikula, ibang konsepto, ibang putahe naman ang ihahain namin,” Coco Martin shared.
Meanwhile, Alden Richards has an MMFF entry this year. It is a drama movie Family Of Two with Megastar Sharon Cuneta. This is directed by Nuel Naval and is under Cineko Productions. On the other hand, Coco Martin has no MMFF entry this 2023.
