ABS-CBN 2024 SHOWS – During the ABS-CBN Christmas Special this year, offerings for the first quarter of 2024 were unveiled.
2024 is the Year Of The Wood Dragon and it is definitely going to be an exciting year because of these offerings from ABS-CBN. During the ABS-CBN Christmas Special at the Araneta Coliseum, some of the shows they are going to launch were unveiled.
Some of the shows that will hit the free TV airwaves soon are two PH adaptations of successful South Korean Dramas.
ABS-CBN Studios will also be launched, the revamped ABS-CBN entertainment division will handle these shows. This is a major shift in the company since its franchise renewal failure.
Here are some of the things to watch out for:
- “Linlang”
This Prime Video show will be aired on television soon after its successful run on the platform. This show stars Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino, and JM de Guzman.
- “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim“
After the success of KimPau love team in “Linlang, they will be doing the PH adaptation of this famous Kdrama. They are delighted with the support and the success of their love team.
- “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay“
This famous show is another Kdrama that will have a Filipino adaptation. On the leads are Anne Curtis, Carlo Aquino, and Joshua Garcia. Initially, this project was offered to Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil but they turned it down.
- “Bag Man”
Asian Academy Creative Awardee for Best Actor in a Leading Role Arjo Atayde will be doing his award-winning role in this web series. This time around, he will be starring with powerhouse actors John Arcilla and Judy Ann Santos.
- “Pamilya Sagrado”
This upcoming teleserye will star Piolo Pascual and he be joined by young actors Kyle Echarri and Grae Fernandez.
- “Pinoy Big Brother”
This successful reality show that brought the industry some of its big and prominent stars is also making a comeback.
- “The Voice”
The reality singing competition will return for another teen edition. Will the well-loved coaches Sarah Geronimo, Leah Salonga, and Bamboo also return?
