Min Bernardo, the mother of Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo, has this clarification about the rumored network transfer.
When Kathryn Bernardo confirmed the KathNiel split in real life, talks about her switching network became louder. To recall, when their split was confirmed, ABS-CBN and Star Magic issued a joint statement.
According to them, they remain “steadfast” in their “unwavering support” for their talents. They also called for respect for the ex-couple as they go through their breakup.
“They have not done any interviews or issued any new statements as they have already expressed their sentiments on their social media accounts. We ask everyone to respect them and allow them to heal and move on,” says a part of the joint statement.
Now, since the most successful love team just disbanded, will Kathryn create a new path in her career and leave her home network? This is the current rumor about her and her mother, Min Bernardo, has broken her silence about it.
After several vlogs and blind items alleging Bernardo’s transfer, her mother clarified and quipped an emphatic “Nooooo” to ABS-CBN News when asked about it.
“Hindi siya aalis ng Kapamilya network!” Min stressed and explained that this rumor surfacing must be because of her split with Daniel Padilla.
Meanwhile, before the split announcement, Bernardo just had a successful run of “A Very Good Girl”, her film Dolly de Leon. She has an upcoming movie project, a solo project called “Elena 1944”. This film is set in a historical period, particularly, the Japanese period. It will be directed by Olivia Lamasan and shooting will start in 2024.
Meanwhile, Daniel and Kathryn broke up after 11 years of being together. They were not just a love team, they were partners in real life and what they had was real.
