On December 9, 2023 (Saturday), Angellifer and Carl decided to celebrate their 70th monthsary with a simple meal at a fast-food restaurant (McDonald’s). Little did she know that Carl would propose on that day.
Carl came home after his work shift and invited Angellifer to eat out. They chose McDonald’s as their dining spot, Angellifer noticed Carl seemed preoccupied with his phone after they got their food.
The woman invited him to eat, but he was still on his phone. She was a bit annoyed because he was busy with his phone. She had no idea that Carl was secretly recording a video of the proposal.
To her surprise, Carl handed her the phone, thinking he was showing her a picture. However, it turned out to be a video capturing the heartfelt moment of his proposal.
“Pinahawak niya yung phone sa akin. Akala ko may pinipicturan lang siya then pinabasa niya sakin, ayun na. Medyo nag-jump yung puso ko kasi out of nowhere, nag propose siya. Sobrang di ko maintindihan nung una di ko kasi akalain talaga,” Angellifer said.
Carl had bought the ring after receiving his latest salary, accompanied by his sibling. He got the idea from a TikTok video about proposing and included his favorite drawing program in the special moment.
