Cristy Fermin answered the fiery statement of Liza Soberano’s father

Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin is set to file a case against John Soberano, the father of actress Liza Soberano.

To recall, in a now-deleted post that John shared, he had his fiery statement against Cristy and talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz. Liza’s father said that Ogie should return to selling turon instead of talking about other people’s lives.

John also cursed at Cristy because he said that the veteran showbiz writer is “nakikialam sa buhay ng may buhay.”

Previously, Ogie Diaz answered this fiery statement made by John Soberano. The talent manager-vlogger stressed that there was no reason for this tirade from Liza’s father. He said that the topics that they have been discussing in his vlogs are the latest in Philippine showbiz.

The manager-talent relationship between them ended and this came with a controversy. In her statement, Liza claimed that for more than a decade here management appeared to have controlled her life as an actress.

Ogie pointed out that they haven’t talked about John and Liza, and so they are wondering why the actress’s father had those posts. The talent manager-vlogger handled the actress’s career in showbiz for 11 years. However, Liza did not renew her contract with Ogie and Star Magic this year.

In a recent episode of Cristy Fermin’s showbiz talk show, based on the article in Balita, she also slammed John Soberano. The veteran showbiz writer said that her legal counsel, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio already sent a demand letter to John Soberano ordering him to have a public apology within 5 days after the letter was served.

If this will not happen, Cristy said that she is planning to start the legal battle. “Kapag hindi niya ‘yon binawi at kami ay ginamot kung saan niya kami sinaktan, tuloy ang cyber libel,” the showbiz writer said.
