Professional Football player Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 50th goal of the year but said he had more room left in him this year.
Cristiano Ronaldo achieved his 50th goal in 2023 as Al-Nassr defeated rivals Al-Shabab 5-2, securing a spot in the semi-finals of the Saudi King Cup. The former Real Madrid and Manchester United forward scored his team’s fourth goal in the second half. His goal helped Al Nassr reach the semi-finals in Riyadh.
“Great victory and I’m thrilled to announce my 50th goal in 2023,” the 38-year-old Portuguese wrote on Instagram.
“All thanks to the unwavering support of my teammates, fans, and my family! There’s still room for a few more this year,” he added.
Based on the report, since joining Al Nassr at the end of the previous year, the captain has maintained an impressive average of nearly a goal per game. This accomplishment brought his total for the current season to 26 goals, with 16 of them scored in 15 Saudi Pro League games.
In a recent milestone, Ronaldo played his 1,200th professional match three days ago, contributing one goal and an assist in a 4-1 victory against Al-Riyadh. Additionally, he has showcased his scoring prowess for Portugal, striking 10 times in nine matches in 2023.
