Veteran showbiz personality Annabelle Rama referenced in her recent Facebook post the 2014 movie Gone Girl and this did not sit well with many netizens.

Annabelle shared this post after her revelation when asked about her son Richard Gutierrez’s rumored breakup with Sarah Lahbati. Although she did not confirm the breakup, she had an intriguing statement about her daughter-in-law.

Sarah Lahbati refused to react to the statement that Annabelle had. The actress also debunked a post claiming that she criticized her mother-in-law.

After this, Annabelle Rama shared an intriguing post highlighting someone she calls “devil woman.” In her post, she mentioned the movie Gone Girl starring Rosamund Pike and Ben Affleck.

She said that she watched the movie three times and she recommended that people should watch it. Annabelle also asked netizens to guess who the devil woman she is referring to.

Because of this, the movie became a trending topic on X in the Philippines. Netizens did not like Annabelle’s reference and criticized her for not really understanding the plot of the movie.

Many netizens pointed out that the character Amy staged her disappearance to frame his husband Nick because of his infidelity and the lack of attention he gives to her unlike in the earlier part of their relationship.
