Darren Espanto had a memorable show in Qatar
Kapamilya singer Darren Espanto had a wardrobe malfunction during his performance in a recent show in Qatar.
Darren is one of ABS-CBN’s homegrown talents. He rose to fame after joining The Voice Kids. Although he did not win at that time, he was able to pave his way to stardom due to his talent and determination.
Throughout the years of his career as a singer with once-in-a-while acting stints, Darren has already done several shows and projects.
In a recent Instagram post, the singer shared that his recent performance in Qatar definitely will not be forgotten. It is because of a wardrobe malfunction.
Darren Espanto shared a short video of his unexpected moment on stage. “Qatar, I definitely won’t forget this show. Opening palang, napunit na agad pantalon ko,” he wrote in the caption of his post.
Despite what happened, the singer continued his performance with a smile on his face. In the comment section of his post, seasoned actress-singer Vina Morales shared her comment. “Hahahahaha hataw eyhhhhh,” the Cebuana celebrity commented. Vina included in her comment the clapping hands emoji, face with tears of joy emoji, and red heart emoji.
Some netizens commended the singer for being professional amid the wardrobe malfunction while some said that this is part of a performer’s life because somehow every artist has to undergo this phase in their lives.
Meanwhile, one of the recent achievements that Darren Espanto had was when he was chosen as a “hurado” or judge in Tawag ng Tanghalan, the singer contest segment of Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime. He said that it was an honor for him to be chosen as a judge.
Currently, Darren is being linked to Kapuso star Cassy Legaspi. However, they haven’t confirmed yet the real score between them.
