Ragub describes her grandmother “Maria Claro Intia” as a senior citizen who was apprehended by the police in Badiang Sinawilan, Digos City. Her grandmother, along with four other seniors, was detained for a supposed violation of the SSS law.
The issue revolves around a Cooperative failing to pay its monthly contributions, amounting to P9,561.60. She questioned why her grandma, who is not a board member of the coop, was targeted and expressed concern for her well-being.
Airis emphasized the harshness of the legal actions taken against the elderly. She revealed that their family is facing financial difficulties and that the bail amount for their grandmother is a hefty P72,000.
The lady netizen pleads for assistance, emphasizing the challenges their family is currently facing and the vulnerability of their elderly grandmother, who is also dealing with health issues.
The emotional plea concludes with a direct request for assistance from Senator Raffy Tulfo, a popular Filipino radio broadcaster who has been instrumental in helping individuals facing various challenges.
