Flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains, according to weather specialist Obet Badrina.

The northeast monsoon will also bring isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.

The easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in Metro Manila and the rest of the country. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected during severe thunderstorms.

Badrina reported that no tropical cyclone is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility within the next few days. However, one or two tropical cyclones may enter the country’s vicinity within this month.

The coastal water condition over Palawan, including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro will be moderate to rough. Visayas and Mindanao will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions, according to PAGASA.
