PAGASA: LPA Outside PAR May Re-Intensify This Weekend

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (November 15, 2023)

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that a low-pressure area outside PAR may still re-intensify this weekend.

On Wednesday (November 15, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. A low-pressure area, shear line, and amihan will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area spotted 1,275 kilometers east of northeastern Mindanao has a low chance of developing into a storm. The LPA remains outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

The shear line will be affecting Southern Luzon while the northeast monsoon will affect Northern and Central Luzon.

It will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Samar.

The northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.

Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Central Luzon. Similar weather condition is expected over the remaining parts of the country.
