Viva’s big boss says Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla both agreed to do this.
Vic del Rosario confirms that “Maging Sino Ka Man” leads Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla agreed to do part two of this.
Maging Sino Ka Man is a 1991 film with the genres of romance, comedy, and action directed by Eddie Rodriguez. This was produced and released by Viva Film and it earned ₱150 million throughout its run.
This also resulted in a real-life romance between the leads Robin Padilla and Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
This film is so iconic that an adaptation series was made by GMA starring Barbie Forteza and David Licauco in the lead. With the success of the 1991 film, the big boss of Viva, Vic del Rosario, recently confirmed that the original stars are set to do a sequel for this.
According to the Viva big boss, the two stars both agreed to part two. This was announced by the big boss during the 42nd anniversary celebration of Viva Entertainment which was held in Metro Tent, Pasig City.
“I’d like to announce that Sharon and Robin, the senator, has agreed to do Maging Sino Ka Man Part 2. Hopefully, isu-shoot natin yung pelikula next year,” says Boss Vic.
Apart from this, Padilla is also doing the third installment of Bad Boy which will be directed by him. He will be working with a beauty queen in this film but no further detail has been disclosed yet.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Megastar for her trust and loyalty to Viva. He claimed that there would be no Viva if not for Sharon. The Megastar is flattered about this but she believes that it was Viva who made her and because of this she will always be a part of this.
