IT’S SHOWTIME MAGPASIKAT 2023 – People were touched and in awe of the performance of Jhong Hilario, Kim Chiu, and Ion Perez.
Magpasikat has reached Friday with the last team to perform finally performed. The Friday team was composed of Jhong Hilario, Kim Chiu, and Ion Perez. Their performance delivered a clear message to everyone through their outstanding talent and creativity.
The clear message of their performance is the responsible use of cell phones and social media. But what made the whole performance stand out was the way they delivered it.
The team did not have artificial intelligence, holograms, or live animations just like what the previous teams had but what they showed was the technology itself. It has an impactful message of how it affects people’s lives in various ways.
They played different roles showing the dangers and pain of being a slave to social media.
It tackled the irony of how something that was invented to connect people disconnected them instead. Many viewers can relate to this and they realized how something so small can make this big impact.
