When Heart focused on her career in the fashion industry, social media played a more vital role. She is now known as a fashion influencer. The Kapuso star endorses luxury fashion brands through her social media pages.
Heart has been attending fashion weeks in different countries. She has also established her name in the international fashion scene.
Previously, Heart Evangelista shared that it was Crazy Rich Asians author Kevin Kwan who officially launched her career as a fashion influencer. The best-selling writer handpicked her to be part of the Harpers Bazaar feature after they met at the Schiaparelli show in France in 2018.
Indeed, Heart’s popularity in international fashion is remarkable. However, an issue surfaced when it was noticed that she was no longer with her previous glam team after an alleged major conflict.
Just recently, another issue surfaced about Heart’s career in fashion. Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, a netizen had this comment in one of the fashion icon’s recent posts.
“After 10 [hours], 1M [views]. Inalis na siguro ng 3rd party ‘yung shadow [ban]?” the netizen commented. This received a reply from Heart. “[Well,] fashion week is done[,] so they can take it out. They got their views,” she replied.
A shadow ban is done by a third-party developer in which a person’s post becomes less visible in the public feed. This negative scenario often happens on photo and video-sharing social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
Previously, Heart Evangelista shared a cryptic post about those who are making efforts to destroy her.
“Stolen contacts, black propaganda, hiring a 3rd party to shadow ban my [content] in the end will not matter because I don’t do this for fame. I will keep doing this till I’m old and gray, even if no one is looking,” she wrote. Heart also said that she will continue expressing herself through fashion because this makes her happy.
