Rendon Labador recalls the scarf scene of Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario following the issue of Joey De Leon.
Following the “lubid” joke of Joey De Leon, Rendon Labador recalls this scene of Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario that happened last year.
Recently, the management of the noontime show “EAT” has apologized for the “lubid” joke that Joey De Leon has made over the weekend. The show submitted an apology letter Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) addressed to its chairman Lala Sotto.
In a previous article, Joey De Leon made a joke about “lubid” as something that is hung on the neck.
This did not suit well to many people. Joey was heard saying, “Lubid, lubid, nakakalimutan niyo, lubid” and MTRCB is currently reviewing the recent incident. In the statement, EAT apologized stating that the banter made the viewers insinuate it as self-harm which is a very sensitive subject.
It said:
“In this regard, the whole E.A.T. management is regretful and apologetic to those who were offended by the said utterance. Rest assured that we are one with MTRCB in advocating a responsible viewing experience for the public.”
Following this matter, Rendon Labador dug up the scarf scene of It’s Showtime hosts Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario in an episode that happened a year ago.
According to him, the Kapamilya noontime show is leading in terms of violations committed. He believes that they are the ones who should be removed from the internet and not him. To recall, Labador’s Facebook page got deleted.
”MTRCB, paki imbestigahan nga ito at pakidagdag sa violations kung maaari. Dapat sila ang tanggalin ninyo sa internet at hindi ako,” Rendon said.

In the said video, Vice and Jhong were exchanging funny banters just like they always do. They are also known for doing “physical hosting” and in the episode, Vice was pulling Jhong’s scarf tied loosely on his neck. Once pulled, it looked like he was choking.
