Bea Alonzo talked about her role in ‘Love Before Sunrise’
Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo shared how she does similar roles and puts a new flavor in or differentiates one from the other.
Bea’s acting caliber has been proven already. Her iconic roles and movie lines have become so memorable to many of her fans. She was also able to show her versatility through different roles.
However, it is inevitable that she will be offered the same roles. In a recent interview, based on that article in GMA Entertainment, Bea talked about the similar roles she played over the years.
Bea Alonzo has a new Kapuso series Love Before Sunrise with Kapuso drama king Dennis Trillo. She played Stella in this series, someone who is the breadwinner of their family and aspires to work abroad.
The former Kapamilya actress admitted that she has already done a role similar to Stella but she makes sure she can present something different.
“‘Yung role ko as Stella, I wouldn’t say that it’s the first time that I’ve done a role like this. I would say I’ve done something similar. Pero kasi for me, ‘yun ‘yung mas challenging. If you’re doing roles that are similar, how can you differentiate them?” she shared.
Bea also shared that her life experiences also helped her in forming her character. She said that her current role resonates with what she went through in life.
“Nagre-resonate sa akin ‘yung mga ganitong klaseng characters kasi I myself have gone through betrayals, heartbreaks. Parang feeling ko, kaabang abang din at least for my fans or the ones who have supported me from the beginning of my career, kaabang abang ‘yung kung paano ako nagre-react as Stella based on Bea’s life experiences,” she said.
Love Before Sunrise served as the reunion project of Bea Alonzo and Dennis Trillo. They worked together back when they were launched as part of Star Circle Batch 10.
