Wowowin, the variety/game show of Willie Revillame, is possible to be aired on PTV 4 and IBC 13, the TV stations owned by the government.

The said show aired for many years on GMA. However, last year, Willie decided not to renew his contract with the Kapuso network. Eventually, his show was aired on ALLTV, the TV network owned by his friend billionaire businessman Manny Villar.

However, Willie decided to resign from his executive position in the Villar-owned network. Last July, the veteran TV host was spotted with executives from government stations. With this speculations surfaced that his show might air on PTV 4 or IBC 13.

In a recent report from Rappler, during a Senate session, IBC 13 President and CEO Jose C. Policarpio, Jr. was asked about the negotiations that they are having with the camp of Willie Revillame.

He said that the negotiation is ongoing and they want to pursue Willie’s show will be on PTV 4 and IBC 13 in order to cater to the “masa.”

We would like to bring the government station to the people, remove the ID of PTV 4 and IBC 13 as government stations,” Policarpio said. He added that bringing Willie to these stations means that it will cater to the “entertainment to the lowest of the lowest among the people.”

The IBC 13 President also shared that they are currently in the process of going through the contract. They are hopeful to finish this within two or three weeks. He admitted that this is a bit difficult because the show will be co-produced by them. “Wala kaming studio, walang studio ang channel 4. Mahirap mag-produce kung walang studio,” Policarpio said.
