A fast-food chain in Kawit, Cavite experienced an indoor ‘shower’ as the ceiling began to leak due to a heavy downpour.
Ross Calderon, a Facebook user, shared photos and videos of an indoor ‘shower’ at a fast-food chain as rainwater poured inside the establishment’s ceiling. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
A sudden and heavy downpour in Kawit, Cavite, the rainwater quickly found its way into the local food chain’s premises on Centennial Road, causing a bit of a commotion among customers. The building’s ceiling began to leak.
The incident added tension to the atmosphere, especially as the rainwater started to accumulate on the floor. Staff members of the food chain did their best to control the situation, trying to contain the water and keep the customers comfortable.
Many customers remained unbothered and continued to enjoy their meals. Some diners even made light of the situation, joking about receiving an impromptu indoor shower while enjoying their ‘unli-rice’ meals.
Fortunately, after nearly an hour, the rain subsided, allowing the staff to address the situation and clean up the affected area.
“Halos isang oras rin bago humupa ang ulan, kaya naman makikitang binaha ang ilang bahagi ng flooring, na pilit kinokontrol ng isa sa mga staff ng food chain, pero no problem naman ito sa mga naka dine in na customer at tuloy tuloy lang sa pagkain dahil unli rice naman daw,” Calderon wrote.
